It’s not fair when children’s parties are cancelled because of last minute changes in government restrictions. Life is tough enough for them at the moment. They need to have opportunities to have fun with their friends.

Cocoa Runners online virtual chocolate tastings offer a fun experience for children’s parties. They’re perfect as a hassle free option that won’t be affected by last minute rule changes. What’s more, they’re a great way for kids to get together with their friends and family from the safety and comfort of their own homes.

While we’ve been holding tastings for many years, our virtual children’s parties are interactive and have been created just for kids. They’re a safe, moderated way for them to celebrate together with their friends in these tough times.

What’s more, we take the hassle out of this for you too – we create the tasting packs, send out the joining instructions and moderate the sessions. We can even arrange party bags for each guest too!

What’s Included?

1. A fun 45-60min highly interactive tasting session that takes in the history, science and geography of craft chocolate
2. Designed for children aged 7 – 12, these interactive sessions are delivered via Zoom
3. We use a supplementary technology to ask questions as we go, and the session includes a quiz for all participants at the end with prizes for the winner
4. Children will get to taste 6-10 craft chocolates made from transparently-traded cacao (each child is sent the tasting pack in advance)
5. The sessions are led by one of our team of craft chocolate experts and moderated for the safety of participants
6. We keep things approachable and inclusive.  Where we ask children to share what they taste, or to participate in a quiz, they can do so anonymously. 
7. If you would like, we can provide party bag treats for participants – your choice of either a Craft Chocolate Activity Pack (for example a Make Your Own Chocolate Bars Kit or a Make Your Own Chocolate Lollipops Kit).

How Does It Work?

1. Select a date and time that suits you (subject to availability)
2. Select the tasting kit (options below)
3. Prepay for the session
4. We’ll send you an email to send to each child. This email will include a coupon code to order their tasting kit directly from our website free of charge. Please note that if preferred, one person can place all the individual orders via our website – but we, Cocoa Runners, cannot do this for you
5. We’ll deliver our chocolate tasting kits directly to each child ahead of the session
6. In the run up to the session, we’ll email everyone with the Welcome & Joining Instructions

Pricing & Your Options

• We offer Tasting Kits at £9.95 per person (plus P&P)
• We also offer additional ‘Party Bag‘ gifts of Craft Chocolate Activity Kits, priced at £18.95 per person (plus P&P)
• The minimum cost of the chocolate per party needs to be £300 (note: party bags are included in this price – i.e. 31 Tasting Kits, 11 Tasting Kits with an Activity Kit).
• Our Private Tasting fee on top is £50. This is for the 60 minute tutored session
