This box is literally packed with award-winning chocolate. On February 4th 2022, The Academy of Chocolate announced their 2021 special chocolate awards.

Below are two Gold award winners:

Krak Chocolade – Sierra Nevada, Colombia 55% Dark Milk Chocolate

For this bar, Mark has sourced Sierra Nevada cacao that grows in a “harmonious place” off the Caribbean coast of Colombia. To source these beans, Mark has worked with Uncommon Cacao. Uncommon Cacao work to build a more fair and sustainable cacao supply chain, and work directly with the farmers to drive maximum value at origin.

Fudgy, rich and spiced. Krak has crafted an incredibly moreish dark milk chocolate bar. It’s not too sweet and you can taste the delicate nuances of the cacao, from the almonds to nutmeg and cinnamon to the tropical fruits.

Standout Chocolate – Lachua, Guatemala 70%

This 70% dark chocolate is vibrant from the get go. We get the tropical and citrus juiciness and acidity, with the grounding tea leaf astringency and rich cocoa body.
