    This is a full-bodied Madagascan dark with a rich but subtle nose.

    The chocolate is smooth with a creaminess that permeates both texture and taste. Strong roasted notes dominate Amedei’s bar, creating a dark treacle profile. The Italian chocolate feels indulgent thanks to a mixture of fondant, cream and coffee hints. The bar has relatively little fruit – a touch of berries  is dominated by brown sugar and malt.

    Amedei has created a Madagascan that balances some of the flavours you would expect to find in this origin with less typical tones. The dark chocolate is supremely delicate. We recommend taking a small piece and letting it melt slowly on the tongue. This is not a chocolate you can rush let the flavours gradually reveal themselves.
