ABOUT THE BAR
This single-origin 40% milk bar combines Bean & Goose’s smooth and creamy milk chocolate with crunchy soda breadcrumbs made in the heart of Limerick City. The treacle soda bread is slowly roasted to bring out the strong, slightly bitter, treacle flavour, before being dried to create the perfect crunch.
ABOUT THE MAKER
In 2013, sisters Karen and Natalie Keane attended a course run by the well-known French chocolatier, Benoit Lorge in Kenmare, Ireland. Little did they know, this course would prove the catalyst to transform them into premium chocolate makers. Now based in the Wexford countryside of Ireland, Karen and Natalie strive to create thoughtfully-made chocolate and source sustainable raw ingredients, many of which originate from Ireland itself.
