    TASTING NOTES

This bar gives delicious notes of red berries and kiwi flavours. With every bite, you will appreciate its melting and velvety texture which is perfect balanced with its high percentage of 70%.

    ABOUT THE MAKER

Jannie and Marc have always described themselves as “chocolate addicts”. They started out making chocolate at home, but in 2015 decided they wanted to share their passion with the world – and so Belvie was born. Made from the finest Vietnamese cocoa beans, Belvie’s chocolate is handcrafted in small batches to maintain quality. Their beans are purchased directly from local farmers, and they see paying a premium price as an important step in halting the decline of Vietnam’s cocoa farmers.

    THE BEANS

This Belvie Ben Tre dark chocolate is an example of Vietnam’s chocolate making and growing prowess. This craft bar is made from Trinitario cocoa beans grown naturally in the Ben Tre region. From there the beans are transported to Belvie’s workshop, where they are carefully transformed into this delicious 70% chocolate bar

Very smooth texture. Hints of citrus. Not very complex.
