TASTING NOTES
As with all Bonnat chocolate, this bar has a thick, buttery texture. The milk gives the bar a certain sweetness, though the high cocoa percentage means it doesn’t have the overwhelming sugary taste of many mass-produced milk chocolates. Instead, the open fires that are used to dry these Sumatran beans infuse the bar with a distinctive smoky flavour, which results in a milk bar that is more savoury than most.
ABOUT THE MAKER

Lovely texture but the flavour was too noticeably smoky for me.

Like some other dark mills from this brand, the bar had some notes that were a little sour towards the end and reminiscent of blue cheese. A bit odd for me. Lovely texture but would buy a different bar from this brand in future.

Lovely thick buttery bar, slightly waxy texture gives a nice melting texture in the mouth. Soft sweet vanilla background but not at all sugary
