Chocolat Madagascar is a chocolate maker based in the country’s capital Antananarivo. As well as producing deeply flavoursome chocolate bars and 100% cacao bars, it also presses its own cocoa butter and powder.

This cocoa powder has not been washed in an alkalised solution, known as the Dutch process for cocoa. Chocolat Madagascar’s cocoa powder is produced from single origin cocoa from the Sambirano Valley Madagascar. It embodies an intensely fruity and mellow cocoa flavours, making it perfect for bakes, dusting truffles or crafting drinking chocolate with.
