Named from the Italian for ‘drunk’ ubriaco this is a chocolate for the bon viveur.
Plump raisins are soaked in a liquor distilled from white muscat grapes for three months. Once they have soaked up the sweet muscate distillate they are mixed into thick squares of Claudio Corallo’s dark chocolate.
The chocolate’s roasted earthy notes perfectly counterbalances the scented sweetness of the soaked raisins.
Halfway between a chocolate and dessert wine, this is the perfect end to a dinner party.
