For many, Easter is a time for sweet treats and chocolate eggs. But here at Cocoa Runners, Easter is a time to celebrate with the world’s finest chocolate. We’ve curated four of he best small batch artisan chocolate bars into a special Easter Chocolate Collection.
First we’ve included a wonderfully buttery dark chocolate bar from British maker Pump Street Bakery. Using cacao beans from Jamai, Pump Street has crafted a sweet chocolate overflowing with notes of raisins, honey and an undernote that reminds us a little of rum. The chocolate comes in resealable packaging so that you can savour at your own pace and keep the chocolate fresh.
Next unwrap Rózsavölgyi Csokoládé’s sumptuous Venezuelan bar. The delicate dark chocolate is as beautiful to behold as it is to eat with a smooth texture and a subtly floral aroma. The cacao comes from outside the fishing town of Rio Caribe in northeast Venezuela.
Then we’ve included a Swiss milk chocolate from Idilio made with Venezuelan cacao beans. The rich alpine milk gives the chocolate an extra rich and creamy taste and texture.
Finally we’ve included something Zotter’s Santo Domingo is a double treat of two milk chocolate bars. I
