Grenada Chocolate Company Salty-Licious
The Grenada Chocolate Company was a “bean to bar” pioneer, founded by Mott Green back in 1999. The company is a co-operative of farmers and chocolate makers who are passionate about great chocolate, ethics and the environment. They even deliver their bars around the world by sailing ship and bike, from their brightly painted solar-powered factory.
This bar contains Caribbean sea salt which lifts and intensifies the natural sweet and fruity flavour notes that are characteristic of the cocoa from this small Caribbean island.

Oh Ye-es. This bar changed my mood. It made me feel energised. It's perfect for my quirky palate. The chunkiness of the bar (and its clunky snap) foxed me for a couple of seconds, but I soon forgave it, because the flavour is so good. The salt seems to be more on one side than the other. Nothing wrong with that. I like variety. The raisin fruitiness in the melt is strong on the back of the tongue...I imagined dark Caribbean rum. And then the salty melt...buttery and scrumptious in the middle of the palate. No mistakes (like too much sweetness) in this bar. There is a warm, punchy aftertaste, slightly singed toffee apple, that calls to you to go back for seconds. I adore it. If any of my relatives are reading this...more, please. More. More.

Loved this one. The salt isn't too overpowering and one can definitely taste the fruity flavours. Great packaging too!
