      I can definitely taste banana, which I'm pleased with as I am so rubbish at defining what flavours I can taste. I had been putting off trying this as I am preferring the under 70% chocolates, but it's pleasantly not bitter, though perhaps just a little bland. It's really for me, but I will probably try the 66% choc by the same maker.

      It is certainly tannic and earthy, with a bitterness that shows in the after-taste. There are some gentle fruity notes of which banana seems to be the most obvious. The acidity is subtle. It's a good bar, though I would prefer something with more vibrant flavours.

      Beautiful soft breakdown, complex profile revealing notes of banana, artichoke, dried fig, Good savoury depths; tastes very natural and unrefined – and yet the texture is luscious. Nice dry finish. A serious, high quality chocolate.

      This chocolate bar is strongly nutty with deep cocoa tones. There is a slight lime acidity which stops it being overbearingly intense, and it leaves a contrasting sweet aftertaste.
