This bar won Gold in the Academy of Chocolate 2018. The flavour profile of this 2017 harvest is a bold and bountiful one. Rich caramel and honey trickle through bright, tangy, tropical fruits, with pineapples in the foreground. Deanna personally likes to pair this fruity chocolate with a classic, creamy Stilton.
Forever Cacao 72% Peruvian Dark
This is a dark chocolate bar that takes you on a journey as the layers melt away. At first there is an intense, dark aroma and a creamy texture. As this melts away, the buttery flavour remains, but the bar takes on a slightly crumbly texture. Hints of buttered asparagus prevail.
Bare Bones – Dominican 68% Dark with Salt
A balanced, nutty aroma greets this Dominican chocolate, with flavour notes of salted caramel and roasted hazelnuts. Salt from renowned salt producer Maldon brings out the natural sweetness of the cocoa, making this a bar you won’t want to put down.
