About the Maker
Phil started crafting his own bean to bar chocolate in 2016. His first workshop was in the back streets of East London – an old furniture maker’s workshop in Bethnal Green.
This milk chocolate bar is crafted using cacao beans from Guatelmala, the birthplace of Phil’s cacao and chocolate-making journey. In 2012 Phil travelled to central America and it was in a cacao field in Guatemala that he saw the story behind how chocolate grows and is made. It was then that Phil realised that he wanted to started making his own chocolate.
A perfect combination of characteristics of a dark and a milk bar in one. A strong note of honey runs throughout with raisin and a hint of acidity carrying through to the end. Perfect for people who don’t like decisions.
