For this single origin dark chocolate bar, Phil at Land has used cocoa beans from San Pedro Sula in Honduras. Crafting his chocolate in London’s very own Bethnal Green, cacao from Latin America plays a central role in Land’s first chocolate collection.
Of all Land’s dark chocolate bars this is the least intense with a gradual release of flavour. Sweet and delicate currants mix with floral, rose notes. As the bar melts further, you’ll detect layers of rum and raisin before a subtle earthy finish. This bar is really worth taking your time over.
This bar achieved a Bronze at the Academy of Chocolate Awards 2017.
