Amongst the brightest and fruitiest bars Manoa has ever made, this award-winning chocolate carries notes of cherries, passion fruit and raspberries.
ABOUT THE MAKER
Manoa was founded by Dylan Butterbaugh and Daniel O’Doherty. The pair use a variety of different locally sourced ingredients in their bars, which they craft in Kailua on Oahu island. All of Manoa’s bars are sourced from local farmers in Hamakua, Waiahole, Maunawili and Haiku. Hawaii is the only American state where cacao is grown.
ABOUT THE BEANS
The beans for this bar originate from the Miliani Estate in central Oahu. This diverse 97 acre farm hosts crops of breadfruit, banana, avocado, taro and 10 acres of cacao. Their first ever cacao harvest occurred in late 2019 as the trees turned three years old.
