The powerful dark has a distinctive but pleasant texture halfway between grainy and smooth. Hints of cream give way to strongly roasted coffee that borders on bitter. An extra layer of astringency comes through thanks to a dash of sharp citrus on the tip of the tongue.
Manufaktura Czekolady are Poland’s first (and to date only) single origin, artisan chocolate maker. Through their range of single origin bars, founders Christopher Stypułkowski and Thomas Sienkiewicz tell a chocolate story about the flavours of different regions and about how chocolate is made. Their bars are produced by hand in Poland, in a traditional way you might have seen 150 years ago.
