Michel Cluizel was born into a family of bakers. His father Marc was a baker and chocolatier, who set up his first business in the French town of Damville in Normandy, France. Since 1971 the company has been making chocolate from the bean, working with a number of cocoa plantations in South America and Africa.
This bar is made from cocoa beans from a single plantation in the Dominican Republic. It has a well rounded, sweet and fruity flavour that has won awards around the world, including gold medals from The International Chocolate Awards and the Academy Of Chocolate.

Lovely melt, velvety smooth chocolate. Simply sweet and chocolatey, with raspberry and cherry tones, mmm perfect!

An outstanding chocolate among the many delights we've sampled from Cocoa Runners so far. Beautiful balance of flavour, acidity and sweetness, with a smooth texture.
