Description
Naive SuperDark is, as the name suggests, and intense dark chocolate crafted from Bolivian cacao.
The bar is part of Naive’s new Equator collection. All the bars in the collection exclusively use ingredients grown near the equator. The idea is that these different components will therefore naturally harmonise with one another. With this particular bar head chocolate maker Domantas Uzpalis has kept things simple, thus allowing the cacao to shine through on its own.
While the cacao percentage if fairly high, the name refers to the total darkness of a night in the sub-tropics, where there cacao grows.
Tasting Notes
This is an intense dark chocolate yet flavourful bar with deep earthy notes. Hints of nutty mushroom and fresh soil dominate the smooth bar. A gentle floral parfum mixes lavender and passion flowers.
