We’re celebrating the start of Spring with this collection of bars; giving you a chance to try the bars we were tasting on Sunday Brunch on the 20th March 2022!
Our co-founder and chocolate expert, Spencer Hyman chatted chocolate and spring with Sunday brunch presenters Simmon Rimmer and Tim Lovejoy. Introducing three spring time bars to three wonderful guests; Ricky Wilson, Louise Rednap and Rachael Stirling.
Each bar is bursting with flavour and interesting textures, sweet and nutty, refreshingly tangy or intriguingly crunchy.
Inside this box:
Chocolarder – Oko Caribe, DR, Almond Honey Nougatine (temporarily replaced by Chocolarder – Hazelnut Praline, Indonesia Dark 65%, different to image)
A deliciously creamy bar with rich sweet honey from cornish black bees, produced locally to the Chocolarder factory. Deep toasted nut profile, from the Spanish sail shipped almonds. Nougatine made in house using local free-range eggs, and unrefined sugar from a green harvest project in Brazil. Finally the dominican cocoa gives a natural smooth and nutty profile.
Puchero, Paquibato, Philipines, with Nibs 75%
This rich 75% dark bar is bursting with notes of fresh fruit, yellow and tropical fruits, ripe berries and citrus. To enhance these spring-like flavours, Puchero have added nibs from the same origin cacao, a gentle sprinkle to add clarity to those refreshing notes.
Zotter – I LOVE YOU – SOOOO MUCH! Raspberry (handscooped)
This 70% dark chocolate is filled with a tangy raspberry ganache, using fresh fruit this bar has a refreshing juicy taste. To finish the bar, sandwiched between the dark chocolate and berry middle is a thin layer of smooth white chocolate.
Enjoy with family and friends or gift as an Easter present!
