  • Description

Spencer Hyman will be joining philosopher Julian Baggini for an evening that will change the way you think about chocolate – and how you eat it – for a Funzing Experience.
Funzing Talks is a new concept which aims to re-invent your after work drinks. It brings together an array of leading entrepreneurs, intellectuals, bright thinkers and incredible individuals to inspire your evenings.

With the help of tastings of craft chocolate we’ll be investigating what the humble cocoa bean teaches us about the nature of experience, the good life and our responsibilities to others.
We’ll also be asking: Is good food purely a matter of taste? What is “natural” food and is it better?

What should we believe about the health benefits and risks of chocolate?

Dr Julian Baggini is the author of numerous books of philosophy including the award-winning The Virtues of the Table and the recent How the Word Thinks. he is academic director of the Royal institute of Philosophy. Spencer Hyman is a partner and co-founder of Cocoa Runners, purveyors of the finest craft chocolate.

    Venue: The Grafton, Kentish Town

    Doors: 7pm / Talk starts: 7.30pm.
