Inside UK

For orders dispatching to inside the UK offer Standard, and Express services provided by Royal Mail and a Next Working Day service provided by DPD. Please note that the Royal Mail delivery times are only indicative and not guaranteed.

If you think you may not be in for a delivery, or away on holiday, etc. we recommend contacting the Royal Mail to arrange that they hold your packages for you.

Outside UK

For orders being delivered outside of the UK, we are shipping on a “best efforts” basis. Outside of the UK we have no control of local delivery services – and we’re experiencing orders experiencing delays at local sorting offices of 3-5 days.

Please also note that you, as the customer, may well be subject to certain import duties and VAT charges; these are your responsibility and you may have to pay new charges to receive your ordered products. These charges are being levied by local governments and are outside of our control. For EU deliveries we use IOSS to handle local VAT payments, and for many orders this is minimising problems. But the application of IOSS is not under our control (it’s determined by the receiving country Postal and Customs offices).

On 1 July 2026, the European Union ended the de minimis exception, meaning that all shipments entering the EU are subject to customs duties. We are working with our delivery partners to ensure that these fees are as transparent and automatic as possible.

United States of America

The US government has ended the $800 de minimis exemption, which previously allowed goods under this value to enter duty-free. This means that all orders shipped from the UK to the US may now be subject to import duties and taxes. You, the customer, are responsible for paying these fees, which vary depending on where the bars are made and the total value of your order.

We know this isn’t ideal and are actively working on a way to collect these duties at checkout, so there are no surprises on delivery. Because duties are calculated based on the origin of each individual bar, it’s a little complicated, but we’re working on it and appreciate your patience.

General Delivery Information

We ship most of our chocolate, coffee and monthly kits from our UK warehouse — to addresses across the UK and to 48 other countries worldwide. Prices below are shown per shipment; weight bands are the parcel’s total weight including packaging. Prices are correct as of 21 August 2026 and are always confirmed again at checkout, which is the authoritative price.

One-off orders (bars, boxes, hampers) aim to ship the same working day if placed before 2pm UK time, or the next working day otherwise. This can slip during peak season depending on warehouse capacity — we don’t guarantee a specific delivery timeline for one-off orders.

We can confirm the dispatch date from our warehouse; after that, your order is in the hands of the postal service you chose, and we’d ask you to consult their tracking or local branch directly.

VAT note: The prices in the tables below are the nominal rate we quote (equivalent to UK VAT-inclusive pricing). At checkout, VAT is recalculated at your own country’s rate, so the amount you’re actually charged can be a little higher or lower than the figure shown here — this does not include any import duty that your country’s customs authority may separately charge on arrival.

Inside the UK

We deliver to every address within the UK that Royal Mail reaches, plus Guernsey and Jersey (Channel Islands), which ship at UK rates. Three speeds are available at checkout, though not every speed covers every kind of order.

Monthly kit & coffee subscriptions

Subscription boxes always ship Standard (3–5 working days) at a flat £3.45 — we don’t currently offer Express or Next Working Day for subscription shipments.

Bars, boxes, hampers & other one-off orders

Outside the UK

We currently ship to the 48 countries and territories listed below, all on a single “Standard” service. A handful of small territories ship at a neighbouring country’s rate rather than having their own: Guernsey & Jersey ship at UK rates, Monaco at France’s rate, San Marino & Vatican City at Italy’s rate, Andorra at Spain’s rate, and Greenland at Denmark’s rate. If your country isn’t in these tables, we don’t currently have a working shipping rate for it — please get in touch before ordering.

Monthly kit & coffee subscriptions

Subscription boxes ship at a flat rate per country, regardless of weight.

Chocolate bars & small items (Large Letter)

This rate applies to orders that qualify for our small/letterbox-sized packaging — a handful of bars, for example. A mixed cart with bulkier items will price from the parcel table instead.

Applies to every country below except the USA, which has its own weight bands — see the next table.

The USA uses wider weight bands than every other country we ship to. There’s currently no configured rate above 14.8kg — get in touch for a quote on anything heavier.

Packaging & the chocolate itself

Our monthly boxes are designed to be letterbox-friendly and fit through nearly all UK letterboxes — 18.3cm wide × 2.4cm thick × 29cm long (Non-UK boxes have slightly different dimensions). You don’t need to be in to sign for a subscription delivery; a work address works just as well if you’d rather not risk a doorstep parcel.

Orders of up to four bars are packed letterbox-friendly too. More than four full-sized bars, or anything containing cooking chocolate, wholesale cartons or catering couverture, ships in a larger box instead.

We don’t ship with ice packs, and our boxes are cardboard without thermal insulation. In hot weather, or if you’re shipping somewhere warm, we can’t guarantee the chocolate won’t soften in transit — ordering earlier in the week and choosing a faster service both help.

Once a parcel leaves our warehouse, we can’t control what happens to it in transit. Melting, breakage or theft after dispatch are outside our control, and we’re not able to trace a parcel that goes missing in the postal network — your local postal service is best placed to do that. Choosing a tracked service at checkout gives you the most visibility.

Missing or delayed orders

All of our orders are shipped with the Royal Mail (unless you have chosen DPD). They specify that deliveries are not technically “missing” until after these time frames:

• Within the UK: after 2 weeks
• Within Europe: after 3 weeks
• Rest of the World: after 4 weeks

For Subscriptions:

We want you to get your hands on the chocolate quickly, so we’ll send your first box straight away.

Subsequent monthly boxes will be sent out in the week of the third Monday of the month. We send these boxes out Tuesday to Friday during this week.

Our monthly boxes are designed to be “letterbox friendly” and to fit through nearly all UK letterboxes. The dimensions of our box are 18.3cm wide x 2.4cm thick x 29cm long. If you’re worried, you can have the chocolate delivered to your workplace instead. You do not need to be in to sign for deliveries.

As with other orders, chocolate is not shipped with ice packs and the boxes are cardboard and do not have thermal insulation. And if our packages are left outside in the snow, rain, etc. they will obviously disintegrate so in the event of bad weather please do consider contacting the Royal Mail (and other postal services) to arrange for them to hold your goods.
