This box contains:
Jordi’s – Chantaburi, Thailand, Milk 55%
This is a creamy dark milk bar from Jordi’s, using beans from Chantaburi in Thailand. There are notes of honey, caramel, and dried tropical fruits with a pleasant acidity in the aftertaste.
Zotter – Labooko Peru, Dark 82%
Austrian chocolate maker Josef Zotter is known for his wacky and wonderful flavours, but this bar is a roasted and intense dark chocolate. The Peruvian cacao used by Zotter is unique to Peru and more specifically the Acopagro region. The beans are of the Criollo variety, with white Porcelana cacao added to the bar. And what’s more, you get two bars of it in this pack. Like most Zotter bars, the chocolate has a beautifully smooth texture and is also fairly traded and organic. Look out for notes of muscovado, burnt toffee and honey.
Standout Chocolate – Principe, Roça Sundy, Dark 70%
This is a surprisingly sweet 70% dark bar from Standout, with smooth, warming notes of honeysuckle and vanilla. The beans for this bar come from the island of PrÃncipe off the coast of Central Africa. The main cacao grown on PrÃncipe is Amelonado, a variety of Forastero that thrives off of the island’s volcanic soil, tropical humidity and annual rainfall.
Heinde & Verre – Piura, Peru, Two Harvests, Dark 71%This is a Cocoa Runners exclusive bar from Heinde & Verre, made with two different harvests from Piura, Peru. One bar was harvested under regular weather conditions during spring 2025 with tasting notes of red berry, gooseberry, and loquat. The other bar was harvested during the El Niño storm in autumn 2023, with creamier notes and soft white fruit flavours that finish with a herbal note.
