Cocoa Runners – Cooking & Baking, 100% Chocolate, 230g (Out of Temper/ Bloomed)

This is a 230g bag of 100%, dark, sugar-free chocolate couverture buttons that have bloomed during transportation. (i.e. gone out of temper).  This means that there is some white cocoa bloom on them, and their snap is off.

They are still, however, great to cook with and make into drinking chocolate! They’re just not in perfect condition – which is why we’re selling them at 25% off!

About the couverture

These 100% couverture pistoles made from fine superior cocoa have a mouth-watering, citrus edge and a roasted, fruity flavour, a little like a fruity filter coffee. Although containing no sugar at all, made with nothing but cacao, this is quite easy to eat for such an intense chocolate, the absence of sugar revealing all of the richness of the cocoa.  This is perfect for a variety of uses in the kitchen.
