Located in upstate New York, right on the edge of the gorgeous Ashokan reservoir, Fruition Chocolate Works offers the perfect stop off after a day exploring. A small-batch craft chocolate company with streams of award winning chocolate, their shop and cafe is certainly worth a visit.

How to get there: Car is best, but if not there’s a Trailways bus to Woodstock or Kingston and then it would be possible to Uber or Lyft (though those services are a little more sparse where we are)
What’s included: They have a retail shop and hot chocolate cafe with a viewing window that showcases their confectionery kitchen. You’ll have the opportunity to chat to their lovely staff and buy their wonderful chocolate.

MOKA ORIGINS Pensylvania, USA
MOKA ORIGINS is a wonderful tree-to-bar chocolate company, a socially sustainable business, with a mission to produce chocolate which supports the farmers and offers a fair wage in exchange for top quality cacao. Their bars are made in a small batch factory in Pennsylvania, where you can pay them a visit.

Established in 2003, French Broad have been perfecting their chocolate craft for nearly 20 years! Their striking chocolate lounge towers above you in the busy streets of central Ashville. Just a short drive north and you reach their brilliant factory.
