Spencer Hyman and Professor Barry Smith are hosting a special virtual craft chocolate tasting with the British Society of Flavourists at 6.30pm on 24th April – and we’d love to see you there.

Explore how craft chocolate offers a delicious means to savour and explore ortho- and retro-nasal “flavour waves” whilst also discussing how chocolate has also pioneered “the bliss point”, “sensory specific satiety”, hyper palatability, cross modal sensation, emulsifiers & lecithins and much more.

Each box will contain 10 different craft chocolate bars, a “supertaster” strip and one example of mass produced chocolate

  • Step One - Purchase your tasting kit

    Purchase one of our virtual tasting kits - you can buy one for 1-2 people or a large tasting kit for up to 6 people with a selection of bars we'll be trying. Click on the links to the left (or below), and click 'add to cart'.

  • Step Two - Sign up to the tasting

    Use the form below to sign up for the tasting so we can send you the zoom details. We will send them a few days before the event, so keep an eye on your inbox!

  • Step Three - Get ready

    You'll receive an email ahead of the day with the login details, so make sure you're ready on the zoom link with your laptop, your chocolate, and a glass of water (and wine/coffee/tea if you like!)

  • Step Four - Enjoy your craft chocolate adventure!
