Nettie Atkisson is a former nursery school director, and a certified chocolate educator. Some of her favourite craft chocolate bars come from the likes of Menakao, Original Beans, Moka, Bare Bones, and Stranger!
As any cacao farmer or craft chocolate maker will tell you, transforming a cacao seed into a chocolate bar is a complex process. ‘The Chocolate Seed’ gently explains the chocolate making process to children and their carers, using gorgeous illustrations and a soothing rhythm. The book was also designed to keep adults interested and engaged while reading it as well – Nettie found that she liked books where she could learn as she read to her newborns!
