Each piece is then coated in rich Kokoa Kamili chocolate from Tanzania, with a hint of ground Tonka bean blended into the chocolate for a warm, spiced finish. Crunchy, creamy, and gently aromatic, they’re a unique take on a classic chocolate-coated treat.
About the maker
ChocoMe Atelier crafts exceptional bean-to-bar chocolate using ethically sourced, single-origin cacao and organic cane sugar, with no additives or preservatives. Their mission is to showcase the unique flavour profiles of cacao through traditional methods and close collaboration with farmers. With beans sourced from regions like Venezuela, Tanzania, and Madagascar, each bar reflects a deep commitment to quality, sustainability, and craftsmanship.
About the beans
The beans for this bar are sourced from Kokoa Kamili, a social enterprise fermentary who operate by purchasing ‘wet’ cocoa beans directly from smallholder farmers, and then ferment and dry the beans following its post-harvest protocol. The cacao beans are all sourced from the Kilombero Valley, Morogoro Region, so as to raise the profile of Tanzanian cocoa.
