We have put together 4 delicious white, milk, & dark chocolate bars, each with a small nod to Halloween and its various traditions.

The box contains:

Omnom – Coffee and Milk bar

This luxury white chocolate is ground with coffee beans, creating a bar reminiscent of coffee buttercream. This bars’ geometric bat packaging made us question why these furry creatures have become the poster animal for Halloween. Three species of bat are blood-drinkers, influencing Bram Stoker to include them in his novel Dracula (1897), where he depicted vampires shapeshifting into bats.

Hogarth – Kumara, Milk 45% with Sweet Potato Crisps

Kumara, or sweet potatoes, are a prominent crop in New Zealand. This bar is a nod to the comforting sweet potato pie eaten during the Halloween and Christmas seasons. Expect caramel and fruity notes in this deliciously smooth milk chocolate.

MIA – 65% Dark Chocolate with Orange

This bar has been crafted from Madagascan cacao and sugar, and has a bright orange flavour.  The inclusion of orange oil gives every bite a rich, orange flavour.  Madagascan cacao is known for its tart, red berry and citrus notes, and as such, orange is an ideal inclusion.  In addition, the surface of the bar is studded with small pieced of dried orange and the chewey texture of these pieced provides a pleasing contrast to the smooth, orange infused chocolate.

Original Beans – Bolivia, Dark 66%

And to finish off this gift box is a delicately sweet dark Bolivian bar from Original Beans…because it’s orange!
