This Mirzam Coffee & Cardamom bar is a flavoured dark chocolate which combines some of the finest flavours from ancient trading routes. Crafted in Dubai, all of Mirzam’s chocolate bars are inspired by the maritime Spice Route. Traders sailed these paths hundreds of years ago to gather valuable ingredients to sell on to European buyers.

This bar uses coffee from a local roaster near Mirzam in Dubai. Fresh ground coffee and spices is a combination that one can find across the Middle East. Cardamom is the third most expensive spice in the world, and thus the perfect accompaniment to the rich coffee.

Tasting Note

Such strong flavours can be difficult to work with in chocolate. Mirzam has managed to perfectly balance the coffee and cardamom in order to create a bar with a perfectly rounded flavour.
