BSL Craft Chocolate Tasting

Join us for a special craft chocolate tasting particularly for Deaf people who are sign language users, which will take place on Thursday 27th July 2023 at 13 Charterhouse Square, London, EC1M 6AX. Expect lots of chocolate to taste, and a chance to speak with our craft chocolate expert, Spencer Hyman. There will be BSL interpreters.

• Arrive at 6pm for a 6.15pm start, where you will be greeted by our hosts.
• You will be seated in our tasting room and presented with a selection of fantastic craft chocolates.
• The tasting will begin at 6.15, and we will begin to unwrap the stories between each of the specially selected bars. We will explore the science of taste and flavour, chocolate’s fascinating history, and how it’s made.
• There will be a brief break in the middle of the tasting, where you will have time to discuss the chocolates and ask any questions to the Cocoa Runners team.
• The tasting will finish at roughly 7.30, and there will be ample time at the end to chat with us.
• This tasting is intended for Deaf people, and we will be joined by two BSL interpreters. If you are not Deaf, please come to a different tasting – you can find more information about our other tastings here. If you are hard of hearing, or hearing impaired, it may be helpful for you to know that Spencer is always happy to speak clearly for anyone who relies on lipreading, and you can choose a seat which makes it easy for you to see and hear him talking at all our tastings.

Please note that once you have bought your ticket, you will receive an email a day before the event to confirm that you are attending. You will not receive a QR code ticket.
