This dark chocolate has a crisp snap and melts gently on the tongue. The bar’s subtle flavour doesn’t overpower but allows you to gradually experience the flavour notes of the fine Venezuelan Criollo beans.

Franceschi Chocolate is a unique collection of Fine and Extra Fine Chocolates made with selections of Venezuelan cocoa from Criollo Origin and Trinitario, which have a combination of aromas, textures and flavours of Venezuelan lands. We are passionate promoters of the Dark Chocolate Art of Origin.

This bar achieved a Silver at the Academy of Chocolate Awards 2017.

Tasting Notes

It has great sour fruits: young berries, green apple skins and green papaya. But there’s also a very smooth and spicy centre to this one that’s as complex but not as in your face.
