This bundle of 3 mini 24g craft chocolate bars comes with two of Marou’s Mint and Orange minis, and a Tien Giang mini – the perfect way to explore Marou’s inclusions and dark chocolate from different origins!

Marou’s Tien Giang bar is intense, but thanks to some sweet red fruit notes, it’s a chocolate anyone can enjoy. Underneath the fruitiness you’ll find a some wonderful spicy notes with a hint of cinnamon and liquorice.

Marou’s Mint & Orange dark bar has a warming, if slightly spicy profile. Combined with inclusions of fresh mint and citrusy orange, Marou has created another delightful tasting experience.

About the maker

The chocolate is made in Saigon by two French chocolate makers, Samuel Maruta and Vincent Mourou and a small and dedicated local team. The Marou name – a combination of Samuel & Vincent’s surnames – has rapidly become synonymous with quality, ethically produced chocolate.

Producing chocolate from the bean in the country of origin is a challenging process. The tropical heat needed to grow cocoa makes producing, storing and shipping finished chocolate bars a logistical nightmare. Marou have overcome these obstacles and just two years after they started, they’re already producing some of the best bean to bar chocolate in the world.

The beans

The Mint & Orange bar is made with beans sourced from the Dong Nai province of south eastern Vietnam, and the plain dark bar is sourced from the Tien Giang province.
