This 100% cacao bar is crafted solely from cacao beans grown in Guatemala by the hands of Palette de Bine in Mont-Tremblant, Québec.

Christine from Palette de Bine has sourced her cacao beans for this bar through Uncommon cacao. Uncommon has partnered with an association of  almost 500 smallholder farmers in the Polochic Valley of Guatemala, one of the hottest micro-climates in Guatemala. As well as cacao they also grow coffee and produce honey! Significantly, the Valley is right next to La Reserva de Biosfera Sierra de las Minas, a forest reserve. As well as their commercial activities he farmer association is also responsible for protecting the reserve.

This 100% cacao bar is intense – bearing the delicate caramel and toasted nut notes from its 70% counterpart.
