About the maker

Founded by sisters Olena and Oleksandra, Sisters A Chocolate is a Ukrainian bean-to-bar chocolate maker committed to creating chocolate that is honest, minimal, and crafted with care. What began in their Lutsk home kitchen in 2018 has grown into a team of seven women, producing chocolate rooted in a philosophy of respect for nature, farmers, and manual labour.

About the beans

The cacao used in this bar is sources from San Marin, Peru – a region known for producing fine-flavour beans with gentle acidity and rich cocoa depth. Grown in diverse agroforestry systems by smallholder farmers, these beans form the perfect base for the rum-ageing process, allowing the chocolate to carry both the distinct identity of Peruvian cacao and the fragrant warmth of Jamaican rum in every bite.
