ABOUT THE BAR
This dark chocolate bar has notes of walnut, hazelnut, honey, olive and chocolate brownie. The beans for this bar are sourced from Semuliki forest in Uganda, a farm owned by Latitude Trade company which works to improve the livelihood and income of the cacao workers in this region.
You might have noticed that this is a relatively low cocoa percentage for a dark bar. This dark chocolate is an ideal ‘bridge bar’ for milk lovers looking to venture into higher percentage chocolate. It retains its natural sweetness, while presenting delicate astringent notes of nuts and cacao.
ABOUT THE MAKER
In the heart of Porto, you’ll find the incredible craft chocolate makers, Vinte Vinte – with an aim of producing some of the finest quality chocolate. Their name sake is based on where they source their beans – all their cacao comes from farms within 20 degrees north or south of the equator – the ideal growing conditions for cacao.
