ABOUT THE BAR
Made from Hispaniola cacao beans, this wonderfully smooth 50% milk chocolate bar features inclusions of orange & caramelized salted almonds. As Fjåk’s limited edition bar for Easter, this bar is a tribute to the common Norwegian Easter tradition – a trip to the mountains (with or without skis) with milk chocolate and fresh oranges in your backpack, as oranges are a traditional Norwegian Easter fruit.
ABOUT THE MAKER
Fjak crafts its small-batch chocolate in the depths of Hardangerfjord in Norway. Agur and Siv started making chocolate in 2015, but it was only in 2017 – after much experimenting and fine-tuning their processes – that they launched to immediate success. They’ve swept the board since then, picking up awards galore with their unique Nordic-inspired flavour combinations and exquisite single-origin dark and milk bars.
ABOUT THE BEANS
The Hispaniola cacao beans, Oko Caribe, are among some of the best cacao on the planet and are harvested within the Dominican Republic. Oko Caribe has close relationships with all the farmers through technical training, agronomic practices and other social relations.
