About the bar

For this 50% milk bar, Heinde & Verre specially created a mix of 7 spices to enrich the bar with the perfect Speculaas flavour. The chocolate has been sweetened with traditional Dutch Basterd sugar, which is typically used in Speculaas cookies, to further elevate the caramel profile of the bar.

Annalisa Barbieri, celebrated columnist and Chocolate Correspondent for The Guardian, stated that Heinde & Verre’s bars are “the sort of chocolate that starts, and perhaps ends, conversations… Their strapline is ‘natural rich chocolate’ and rich is the right word: every bar packs a really flavoursome punch”.
