An incredibly approachable 100% cacao bar. With its hints of caramel and pine, this extremely well conched bar is almost without bitterness. An excellent place to start your adventure into the world of 100% cacao chocolate.

Manufaktura Czekolady is Poland’s first (and to date only) single origin, artisan chocolate maker. Through their range of single origin bars, founders Christopher Stypułkowski and Thomas Sienkiewicz tell a chocolate story about the flavours of different regions and about how chocolate is made. Their bars are produced by hand in Poland, in a traditional way you might have seen 150 years ago.

not bitter at all, perfect for people avoiding sweetened food but still want to have chocolate-covered strawberries, etc. when paired with fruit it really tastes like regular chocolate! best 100% i’ve ever tried

Anyone who claims to prefer 100% cocoa chocolate to dark is either a liar or has a very acquired taste. But this bar is the first 100% I’ve tried that I genuinely like. Yes it has a little bitterness but not an unpleasant amount. Their own tasting notes say “burned wood, caramel, nuts” and that seems about right to me. The intensity is incredible and you really don’t want more than a square or too. It leaves a very satisfying after taste.

Really lovely…a taste sensation – not bitter at all (as others have noticed). You get hints of fruits, of the red clay soil (earthy) quality…I can feel people dancing around outside…..there you go! Thanks Cocoa Runners for the variety you supply. This tastes of Africa 🙂

It’s definitely a good bar for those who want a smooth transition to the 100% club. It’s not bitter for what it is and dare I say slightly sweet. It’s a brilliant bar worth trying if you’re new, but I wouldn’t suggest it to anybody who has tried a few others as it would seem a little less complex. There’s no “rollercoaster” of taste notes as you might get with other 100% bars

I’m working my way through the 100% bars and this is so rich, fruity and delicious I can’t believe its 100%. I don’t get any bitterness, just red fruits/raisins and maybe a hint of caramel. The only problem is that its far too easy to eat and very more-ish. I don’t think it’s as creamy and certainly not as chalky as some other 100% bars – it has a good snap and bite to it. Definitely a good one if you are new to 100%
