Peeling back the beautiful geometric wrapper, a subtle but inviting chocolatey aroma greets you. Quite fudge-y in consistency, the initial flavour is one of milk. This is quickly joined with notes of caramel, that whilst not adding sweetness, instead deliver a deep malt-y flavour. In many ways this combination of milk and malt flavours reminded me of the Mars branded chocolate bars we have all enjoyed as children. – think Galaxy or Maltesers. As reflected by the cocoa percentage of this bar, the milk-y notes lead overall, with cocoa taking a bit of a back seat. However there is no mistaking the quality of this bar, it has a pleasant sheen and snaps crisply, whilst offering a wide range of harmonious flavours that work well together. Personally I found this bar a little too milk-y for my own taste, but certainly look forward to trying other OMNOM bars in the future.
