About the maker

Founded by sisters Olena and Oleksandra, Sisters A Chocolate is a Ukrainian bean-to-bar chocolate maker committed to creating chocolate that is honest, minimal, and crafted with care. What began in their Lutsk home kitchen in 2018 has grown into a team of seven women, producing chocolate rooted in a philosophy of respect for nature, farmers, and manual labour.

About the beans

The cacao in this bar comes from the Mava Maliolio plantation in the Sambirano Valley, Madagascar—a region celebrated for producing some of the world’s most aromatic and flavourful beans. Grown in rich volcanic soil and a tropical climate, these organic beans are prized for their naturally fruity and zesty profile, making them a favourite among bean-to-bar makers for their distinctive and expressive character.
