About the Easter egg

The story behind this egg started with Chocolarder’s admiration of the indigenous Asháninka people from the Amazon Rainforest. The Asháninka people have learned how to cultivate, ferment, dry, and sell their fine flavour cacao, and this egg is a testament to all the hard work they do.

The egg has a fudgy texture that compliments its creamy flavour, and has an aroma which is surprisingly delicate for a dark chocolate, with a whisper of sweet floral notes.  Green peas and freshly cut grass add a refreshing earthy note that dissolves into an effervescent lemon sherbet finish.

About the maker

Chocolarder crafts its chocolate in Falmouth, Cornwall.
