Box of the Month
Towards the end of each month, we publish here our subscription box (our standard mixed box) for the month just gone. It’s available to buy individually, so you can get the bars again or send to a friend.
And now you can taste along with us! See our tasting video here.
Welcome to our April 2021 Collection.
We open our April collection with a Qantu bar made from the world-famous Peruvian Gran Blanco beans. Fresh off the back of five gold awards at the recent Academy of Chocolate judging, Maxime and Elfi’s range of Peruvian bars highlights the very best that Peruvian cocoa has to offer.
Then we travel to Grenada for The Grenada Chocolate Company’s intense 71% dark bar. The GCC’s late founder, Mott Green, built its brightly coloured factory on the island, which uses solar- powered machinery to reduce the company’s carbon footprint.
Next, we get a taste of the Cornish coast with Chocolarder’s supremely chocolatey Ghanaian 65% milk bar, made from beans sourced from the Kuapa Kokoo cooperative in western Ghana.
Finally, it’s our pleasure to introduce you to a new maker – and our first from Chile – ÓBOLO. Mark Gerrits’s value for social and environmental justice is at the heart of everything ÓBOLO does, from the ethically-sourced beans all the way through to his compostable packaging.
