We have some fantastic bars in our September 2022 collection.
Beginning this month’s collection is a strong representative for Philippines cacao. From Utopick comes a complex bar. Floral notes in the shape of jasmine, alongside a fruity edge resembling plum, all softened with light vanilla undertones. The beans come from the Paquibato region of The Philippines.
For our next bar, we have a 70% dark chocolate by Askinosie, with beans sourced from San José del Tambo, Ecuador (the first ever origin Shawn Askinosie used in his chocolate). It has notes of bergamot, orange, honey, and jasmine.
The third bar this month takes us to the Bolivian rainforest, by way of Copenhagen. Here we have another 70% dark bar from Oialla. It has a slow melt, with gentle butteriness, contrasted with crunchy texture from cacao nibs, and flavour notes of citrus and lime.
And finally, this month’s milk chocolate comes from Uganda’s Latitude Craft Chocolate. This 49% bar uses locally sourced Ugandan cocoa, sourced in close partnership with farmers, to provide a strong ‘chocolatey’ experience, with rich brownie notes throughout.
