This Month’s Box
Welcome to our May Collection.
First is a bar from Erithaj chocolate. Crafted in France, the beans are sourced through founder Arnaud’s project VietCacao. The project is supporting people in Vietnam, particulalry young people with disabilities, find jobs in the cacao industry.
Next is a rare bar from Danish chocolate maker Oialla. Oialla crafts all of its bars from wild Bolivian cacao. The beans are a unique genetic varietal that grow in the rainforest islands of the Beni province.
Then we have a bar many many years in the making. Jean-Remy Martin and his company took over the Diogo Vaz Plantation on Sao Tome with the support of the local government in 2004. Finally, fifteeen years later we are delighted to share this bar with you!
To finish is a new bar from our old friends at Original Beans. For this bar Original Beans has travelled to Mexico and worked with the Zoque and Tzotzil tribes, whose tradition of cacao cultivation dates back 4000 years.
