ABOUT THE MAKER
Iris and Bob began experimenting with chocolate in 2008, after feeling distinctly underwhelmed by their search for vegan white chocolate. Now they’ve developed a wide range of white, milk, and dark bars, all of them vegan, and all of them created out of their beautiful off-the-grid 1650s cottage in Dorset, UK.
The beans in this bar are sourced from the Esmeraldas province in the north of Ecuador. Solkiki works with the Salazars, whose 100-acre family farm is equipped with a high-tech facility for fermenting and drying their beans. This level of control in these crucial post-harvest processing steps, combined with great care for their cocoa trees, results in fine-flavour beans of exceptional quality.
