This is a single estate dark chocolate bars crafted by Jordi’s in the Czech Republic.
The cacao for this chocolate had been sourced from Kokoa Kamili in Tanzania. Kokoa Kamili purchase wet cocoa from smallholder farmers and ferment it at its fermentation centre, which enables Kokoa Kamili to constantly monitor the fermentation process. Once fermented and sun-dried, Kokoa Kamili sell directly to quality chocolate makers around the world.
Kokoa Kamili work with around 2000 smallholder farmers. Most of who own between 0.5 to two acres of land – focusing on food crops. For many of our farmers, cocoa is one of their major sources of income.
Expect a bright flavour profile, with hints of lemon and red berry jammy flavours, amongst the richness of a chocolate brownie. Jordi’s crafts its chocolate to be smooth, that melts cleanly with a fresh finish and little astringency.
