ABOUT THE MAKER
Jannie and Marc have always described themselves as “chocolate addicts”. They started out making chocolate at home, but in 2015 decided they wanted to share their passion with the world – and so Belvie was born. Made from the finest Vietnamese cocoa beans, Belvie’s chocolate is handcrafted in small batches to maintain quality. Their beans are purchased directly from local farmers, and they see paying a premium price as an important step in halting the decline of Vietnam’s cocoa farmers.
The province of Tien Giang is located in the Mekong River Delta. Growing in alluvial soil and influenced by the tropical monsoon climate, these cocoa beans result in inviting and flavourful chocolate.
