As others have said – it’s high quality but it doesn’t bring out the flavour of the beans, and is more like a cooking chocolate. I’d much rather have the Bare Bones or Fruition bars that use the same beans – they both have fantastic flavour and I was a little disappointed with this Bonnat bar, knowing how the beans can taste. This bar has a lot of richness but not much to get excited about.

I agree with the reviewer who suggested it tastes more like a fine cooking chocolate than something to savour. It is very good quality chocolate but I just can’t get excited about it. I probably will cook with it.
Matthew –
A nice smooth blend of bitter, sweet and acidic flavours, with some notes of spice and I also get a slight sense of mint. Nothing spectacular or outstanding but very nice.
Angeline B. –
This had quite a strong bitter taste, so I only need a small amount at a time. Not one of my favourites but it’s acceptable.

Very classic. Slow, luxurious melt, revealing a good array of subtle flavours (dried fruits, ganache, fudge). It’s clearly very high quality chocolate and I’m impressed by its balance and subtlety, but it comes across more like a fine cooking chocolate than something I’d want to sit and linger over.
