Location: Ancestral Arhuaco Territory, Caribbean coast of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Northern Colombia

Flavour notes: Warm depth, and gentle sweet flavours of spice, lemongrass, liquorice and sesame.
Description
Asoarhuaco is an association of indigenous producers, practicing traditional farming methods, putting their environment at the forefront of their mission. Integral to this organisation is the balance between nature and man. The ancestral Arhuaco territory is formed of 17 indigenous communities, totalling at around 1000 inhabitants. Mostly, the native population practice self-sufficiency whilst practices such as cacao and coffee production act as a mean of economic subsistence.
