About Storm & Bille
Storm and Bille, founded in 2017, is a Swedish-based bean-to-bar chocolate maker with a focus on the local and national Swedish market, and only a handful of distributers abroad. Their mission? To produce delicious two-ingredient single origin chocolate products which anyone can eat – all of their chocolate is free from allergens, vegan, and organic. Their chocolate factory (translated to Chokladfabrik in Swedish) is located in the heart of Linné, a food district in the city center of Gothenburg, Sweden. The factory is pretty compact at 45 square metres, and Kristin & Johan employ 1.5 employees per year. It also has a storefront area where customers can buy chocolate & take part in tastings… so if you’re ever visiting Gothenburg in Sweden, make sure you pop in!
Co-founder Kristin Bille is the packaging designer, and frequently makes packaging in collab with tourist destinations in the Gothenburg area, including the Opera House, City Museum, and Botanical Garden, which only sell the special bars at each specific destination.
How they became makers…
Storm & Bille was established in December 2017, when co-founders Kristin Bille and Johan Storm after about a year of planning. Both Kristin and Johan have always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a deep passion for food – with Kristin’s design background and Johan’s retail background, they decided to combine their minds and these two important aspects of their lives together.
Storm & Bille’s Sourcing
Storm & Bille source their beans through specialty cacao bulk buyers in Europe, such as Uncommon Cacao, Silva Cacao, and Ingemann.
