About Radek’s Chocolate
Bristol’s first bean-to-bar chocolate maker was born from founder Radek’s love of the planet. Their vegan, organic chocolates are made with high quality ingredients, and as Radek is dairy intolerant, the entire range is dairy-free and vegan friendly. Their recyclable or compostable packaging is all designed in house by Joe, Radek’s Chocolate co-Director & owner. It has subtle nods to Radek’s polish heritage and Joe’s time spent living in Germany as a child in the form of the Easter tradition of pisanki art. Their chocolate is made in micro batches, which are stone ground for three days and blended with coconut sugar.
How they became makers
In 2008, Radek was working at award-winning vegetarian Café Maitreya where he was asked to add some desserts to the menu. He discovered a love for cacao beans, and the first Radek’s product, chocolate truffles, were born. He went on to develop recipes for Radek’s Brownies and soon added a range of handmade chocolates to the range. He made his way around festivals selling their organic, gluten-free brownies and truffles, whilst fine-tuning his skills ready to set up his own chocolate factory in Bristol.

Radek’s Chocolate’s Sourcing
All of Radek’s’ cocoa beans are sourced with human rights, biodiversity and cocoa forestry in mind. They have partnerships with lots of local suppliers in Bristol, including brewers, mycologists and coffee roasters.
